Pompeii tour Guided Experience

This is not a classic Pompeii tour.

It is a walk through a real city, where life suddenly stopped and everything was left exactly as it is today.

We start from the Forum, the heart of Pompeii. This is where everything happened: public life, meetings, business, temples. Even today, walking through it, you immediately understand why it was the centre of the city.

From there, we move through the buildings around it. We will pass ancient taverns, with their stone counters still visible, where people used to eat standing up, talk, and live the city in a way that feels surprisingly close to our own.

We will walk along the streets, still marked by wagon wheels carved into the stone. It only takes a moment to imagine the noise, the movement, the everyday life that once filled them.

We will also enter some of the most beautiful houses in Pompeii. These are very intimate places, with frescoes, courtyards and rooms that still tell something about the people who lived there.

And then there are the plaster casts of the victims. It is one of the most powerful moments of the visit. Faced with these human forms frozen in time, a question naturally arises: and if, behind the myth of the “petrified bodies”, there was a revolutionary idea capable of revealing the very last moments of the inhabitants of Pompeii?

The itinerary may change depending on site accessibility, as not everything is always open. But this does not change the essence of the experience.

This is not a list of monuments. It is a way of bringing the city back to life.
